- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I've stayed at Coombs Country Campground twice now. The campsite overall is OK. The washing up facilities are barely adequate and borderline disgusting the bathroom facilities are OK they are pretty old but kept clean. On our last visit we had some VERY noisy neighbours that were noisy until 3am in the morning which put the downer on our stay. The campsite can be quite noisy thanks to the Alberni highway. My daughter did have a great time here though in the pool, play park etc and made lots of friends.By Matt Martin, November 13, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I have been going there 26 years. Off and on. Great place for kids. Except you have to pay for them. 3 bucks per kid per day. New owners took over and it's going down hill fast I think. Staff don't seem happy. I paid for a shower that dribbled out of the tap. I had to collect it in my hands and splash it on.Ice cold water is free. No pressure in either bathroom for showers. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great campground, especially for families. Fun Park for the kids as well as a swimming pool which is a hit. Adult time in the evening for the hot tub and pool too! However, the pay showers didn't have much pressure, and you pay for everything including the kids! Still a great experience, and the kids always ask to go back.By Paul Clarke, October 15, 2016
